Ashley Tisdale nose best? Here’s how her recent “job” turned out.

Claiming that it wasn’t solely done for the sake of vanity, Ashley Tisdale stated that she got the plastic surgery to fix a deviated septum - the same excuse used by Ashlee Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz and others for goin’ rhino style.

The Hills’ Heidi Montag, on the other hand? She just wanted to look more like a typical Hollywood bleach-blonde tramp and get her sort of pretty face onto more magazine covers. Just ask her - she’ll probably admit it, at least.

In People’s DEVIATED SEPTUM CORRECTION EXCLUSIVE! with High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale (not the naked one, the other one), the actress offers the magazine the go-to excuse for why she just had her nose reshaped, a surgery that should bring the offending organ more in line with Disney’s exacting proboscis standards. “I’m not feeling great today. It’s uncomfortable and I hope this is the only time I ever have to go through something like this,” said the appealingly naive Tisdale, who likely will be spending considerable time on the therapist’s couch when a casting director lowers his eyes to her chest and remarks, “Not bad. But I’d like your chances better if you went you went a little bigger? One of the Cheetah Girls was in here this afternoon and said she’d do whatever it takes. A real go-getter, that one.” [People]

Granted, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron and Lucas Grabeel could watch grass grow in High School Musical 3 and the movie would make billions.

But here’s the actual synopsis, courtesy of Hudgens herself:

“It’s senior year,” the actress said, “so there’s going to be graduation — and prom!”

Added High School Musical 3 director Kenny Ortega: “All of the original cast will be back. [But] I have a feeling this will be the end [for the current stars]. This franchise may move to another generation!”

Does that mean Miley Cyrus could be starring in High School Musical 4?!?

Ashley Tisdale recently spoke with OK! about her upcoming movie, Picture This, as well as the ones fans are truly looking forward to: High School Musical 3.

Do you want to focus more on acting or singing now?
It’s all about balancing it out I think. At first it was really, really hard when I was doing High School Musical 2 and when my album released. That was very hard to balance. But I think that you just find time and they’re both equally important to me.

I’m focusing on my music right now — I just did the tour and now I’m going start my second album.

But I’m set to do High School Musical 3 in February so then I’ll be going back to my acting. So I think it’s just a balancing act.

Is it difficult when you know that what you’re wearing might appear in a magazine?
Yeah, you have to think about it. A lot of my friends prefer to be followed all the time by the paparazzi; I’m so glad I don’t have that all the time. I want to be known for what I’m working on, not where I’m hanging out.
