While celebrity gossip tabloids and sites have been abuzz lately with Katie Holmes rumors, having apparently remembered she’s still around, it’s much ado about nothing.

The recent speculation? That Tom Cruise got Katie Holmes pregnant, intensified by new photos of her visiting a doctor’s office. But she says she’s not expecting baby #2.

“Katie is not pregnant,” her rep tells People.

Boo. She is, however, held against her will.

Also fueling the gossip are Katie Holmes pictures showing her wearing what many thought was maternity attire, although she may just be dressing in a frumpy way lately.

Regardless, she’s happy, healthy, not with child and promoting her upcoming films, The Extra Man and The Romantics, while chilling with her three-year-old daughter, Suri.

“She is magical,” Holmes said of her bundle of joy, who turns four this April. “She’s growing up really, really fast.” Kids tend to do that - though rarely as cutely as hers!

Having become the perpetual subject of rumors for her unhappiness on the set, Katherine Heigl is finally leaving Grey’s Anatomy after five seasons and change.

Series creator Shonda Rhimes has agreed to release the actress from her deal.

The question is why now, after she’s been disgruntled with the series for over two years, but after she unexpectedly came back at the start of the current year?

Because after taking more than half the current season off to make another movie and hang with her adopted daughter, Heigl was scheduled to return March 1.

She did not show.

A Heigl source claims that Katherine “was at home and ready to return to work.” Another insider, however, “insists that it’s much more complicated than that.”

Whatever happened, Heigl and ABC mutually decided that the best solution would be to part ways now, rather than waiting for the end of the current season.

Therefore, you’ve officially seen the last of Dr. Izzie Stevens. Clearly, no love is lost on either side as this ridiculous behind-the-scenes saga finally fades to black.

It’s hard to imagine it being managed worse by either side, but it’s over now. Will Heigl’s career continue to take off? Or is she only hurting it by bolting Grey’s?

While fans argue about the final 12 on American Idol (Paige Miles over Katelyn Epperly and Lilly Scott? Really?!?), this season’s recently-named finalists attended a party in their honor last night.

Matt Giraud, Scott MacIntyre and past contestants were also on hand, as were Cory Monteith and members of the Glee cast.

But the event was all about Crystal Bowersox, Michael Lynche and company. That pair of singers, two of the only contenders in an otherwise mediocre field, celebrated with an airplane ride at the shindig:

The music video for Lady Gaga’s “Telephone,” featuring a fierce Beyoncé, a somewhat nude Gaga and directed by Jonas Akerlund), has premiered amid great hype.

It might even live up to it.

As she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show just last month, “What I like about it is, it’s a real true pop event. When I was younger I was always excited when there was a big giant event happening in pop music and that’s what I wanted this to be.”

Pretty bold praise for her own work, but “Telephone” definitely has the feel of - in typical Lady Gaga fashion - a performance art piece, rather than a mere video.

Perhaps the best part? At the onset, Gaga is strip searched and tossed in a jail cell. In a funny reference to the hermaphrodite rumors about her, a guard says:

“Told you she didn’t have a d!ck.”

That’s before the music even commences, too. “Telephone” may not be as epic as “Bad Romance,” but you have to give Gaga credit, because it’s darn close.
