That’s what the cover page of Star magazine is screaming. All I have to say is: Good for you! Obviously, Jamie Lynn has the capacity to think for herself, and possibly for think for the good of her children; something both her mother, Lynne Spears, and sister, Britney Spears, are obviously incapable of. Although, according to other media Britney Spears was the first to suggest to Jamie Lynn not keeping the baby, back in early January. From the PopCrunch:

“Britney Spears wants her pregnant sixteen year old sister to put her unborn baby up for adoption. The pop mom had warned her sister “not to ruin her life by going through with the pregnancy” and it appears that Brit’s advice has lead to a split for the Spears sisters.

A spywitness tells The National Enquirer:

“Britney told Jamie Lynn it was best for her to get an abortion and move on with her life and career and not to look back.”

“Britney is worried that Jamie Lynn has ruined her budding career and she will be trapped in Louisiana with her mom as a struggling single parent.”

A feisty Jamie Lynn told her big sis that she is making “her own decision and not letting anyone tell her to get rid of her baby.”

“Jamie Lynn really thought Britney might have been the only one to understand her feelings about having a baby, since she has two babies of her own,” the Enquirer’s mole added.”

I don’t want to start the whole “pro-life vs. pro-choice” argument. But considering the Spears family’s drama with children, I don’t think abortion is the worst advice Britney could have given her. Here’s some news for Jamie Lynn: Your sister was an adult when she had her children. You are not an adult. You are a child. A sixteen year old is not ready to give birth in this era, and it’s a god damn shame that some of them, and younger still do. This chain should have been broken years ago; when is the mother going to step up to the plate, and stop being such a publicity whore? When is Britney going to finally realize that she is influencing the life of her sibling, and start acting like a role model? The world may never know, but if this is going to ever get anywhere, the right people need to take the blame. This should be an eye opener for sh*tty parents all over the world. Raise your damn kids! It is not the job of television, or teachers, or the god forsaken Internet! Get off the couch, hang up your cell phones, and pay attention!

I’m not sure when Halle Berry is going to deliver her baby. Berry claimed to be three months along in September. However, recent photos look like she’s about ready to pop at any moment! Her and her beau, supermodel Gabriel Aubry, have no plans to marry, but are very committed to one another.

“I feel more married, in a way, than I ever have in two marriages before,” she said. “He really understands the spiritual connection is so much more important than the paper and the pomp and circumstance and the ceremony.”

But Berry said there is something she and Aubry are sure to do: try to have another child.

“There’s just one right now,” she said. “But we’re hoping, right after this one, to do it again.”

All 85 pounds’ worth!

Just two weeks after welcoming daughter Harlow, Nicole Richie is already skinny again. That’s what not ingesting any nutrients will do!

There’s plenty to celebrate for the family: Medina recently brokered Nicole Richie’s $1 million sale of the first pictures of little Harlow Madden.

This next part is sweet, though.

Joel Madden recenly blogged that he “had no idea what love even was until Harlow came along. I swear it’s so hard to leave during the day, but always so rewarding to come home to the little family… She is growing so fast!”

According to the hot press, Nicole Richie has popped the bun out of her oven, and Joel Madden is all smiles while welcoming the new baby girl into the world. The new baby girl’s name is Harlow Winter Kate Madden; a testament to the celebrity deft knack for picking the most ludicrous crap in the world to call their kids. From People:

“Nicole Richie and her rocker boyfriend Joel Madden are the parents of a daughter, the couple’s rep at Handprint Entertainment tells PEOPLE.

Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz.

“The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents,” says the rep, who confirmed the birth to PEOPLE exclusively.

Richie, 26, said she was pregnant in July, telling Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America: “I would really want to be someone my child would look up to.”

Later, Richie, who had a famously wild childhood, said the idea of parenthood had made her more mature. “When I found out that I was pregnant, there was just something inside of me that felt a responsibility to mend any issues that I’ve had with my parents in the past, because, listen, I’ve put them through a lot,” she said.

As for Good Charlotte frontman Madden, 28, he told PEOPLE in November he was looking forward to being a dad. “Having a baby is the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me, and to us,” he said.

And the new parents plan to teach their little one the value of generosity. In December, the couple started the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation to help the less fortunate. “We want our child to be a part of the community, and to know that there’s a responsibility to help the community,” Madden said at the time.

The couple have yet to set a wedding date, but in September Madden said “marriage is in our future” – he just wasn’t sure when. “Right now our priority is our family and is the baby,” he said. “That’s all we’ve been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy.””

Awww. Nicole Richie really has come a long way since her days of acting like a moron on The Simple Life with Paris Hilton. Ironic that most of the material in the lyrical content performed by Good Charlotte seems pretty anti-Hollywood. Hopefully, Paris is following Nicole’s good example. I mean, if someone as dingy as Nicole Richie can reform into the model personality she seems to present now, maybe Paris, and (dare I?!) possibly even Britney have hope.

Nicole Kidman is reportedly following in the recent, knocked up footsteps of Jessica Alba, Jessica Sierra and Jamie Lynn Spears.

According to The Daily Mail, the actress and husband Keith Urban told friends and family over Christmas they they’re expecting.

Kidman has talked openly about wanting another baby.

“I’m yearning to have one,” she told Vanity Fair in September. “I think I would be very sad if I wasn’t able to have a baby. Keith knows I want one, and he has been getting there slowly.”
