Bernie Madoff, who is a big Wall Street guru, was charged just recently on December 11 for fraud and it seems that among others such as Steven Spielberg, Kevin Bacon and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick may be the most recent victims of his crimes. Madoff was involved in a Ponzi scheme, which is collecting money from investors and paying off the old investors with money from the new. While the total estimated amount of fraud that Madoff is being charged with equals about 50 billion, Bacon may have contributed to a lot of that as it’s rumored that he has lost just about everything he and his wife have. “Kevin Bacon’s rep, Allen Eichorn, confirms that his client and wife Kyra Sedgwick are victims of Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi scheme. There have been rumors that they lost everything except their checking account.
Eichorn responded to the rumors by saying “Please, let’s not speculate or rely on hearsay.”

Hopefully we’re dealing with two people here who are smart enough not to sign away their life’s savings and from his rep’s statement, it sounds as though it may not be as bad as it’s rumored to be. I wonder how much celebs keep in their checking account anyway. I would think that it would be enough to keep you going for a little while. But it really is too bad if it is true. Kevin and Kyra are known as two of the nicest people in Hollywood.

Everybody wants Britney Spears to hook up with somebody it seems and she can’t even be spotted with someone of the opposite gender and not have people whispering about it. Now reports are coming out that she may be dating her choreographer, Sandip Soparrkar. The two apparently became close while he worked with her on her video for “Womanizer” and she likes him so much that she even chose to spend 3 days over the holidays with him on a romantic holiday. From Gossip Girls,

“According to a inside source, the 27-year-old pop singer is well on her way to an international romance with the Bollywood instructor. “It’s early days yet but their romance is going from strength to strength. Britney and Sandip tried to keep their trip to India a secret as they are determined to have a relationship just like any other couple.”

The source continued, “Sandip is very down to earth and keeps Britney grounded. He is also quite spiritual and sensitive, which is a side of him she adores.”

And over Christmas, Brit and Sandip enjoyed a romantic date together. “For Christmas, Sandip - or Sandy as Britney calls him - presented her with a traditional Indian sari. She wore it during a candlelit dinner. The pair were whispering and giggling all night. Sandip ordered local delicacies such as chicken tikka and cottage cheese curry. They were really cute together.”

Britney has got to realize by now that no matter who she is with or how low-key they keep things, she is never going to have a relationship like a normal couple ever again and any man that is with her needs to realize the same thing. However, maybe she could if she really settled down with someone serious and kept drama out of things for a little while. Then she may have a chance that people will become bored with the relationship but even that possibility is very small. But since ‘Sandy’ does sound very tame and non-intense, this could be a good thing for Britney. I do think that she’s had enough time to recover and her health has made a vast improvement over the past year. If she thinks it’s time to move on and find someone to share things with, someone like Sandip may just be the right person to do that with.

As much as I hate Brangelina, it must be difficult to hear the news that you may never be able to have more biological children, as Angelina has reportedly been told. OK! Magazine recently reported that a ’source’ has revealed information that because of Angelina’s health issues in her past that another pregnancy may be very dangerous. From OK!, 

“OK! has learned that because Angie’s last two pregnancies were so fraught with complications, she has been advised to wait a long time before getting pregnant again – or not to get pregnant at all.
“Her previous pregnancies ended with emergency caesarian sections,” an insider tells OK!. “She’s been told that, at the least, she should not get pregnant for a year after her last deliver, and it would be safer if she did not get pregnant, ever.”

The health complications this time around could pose a direct danger to the Changeling star, Dr. Larrian Gillespie, who has not treated Angie, tells OK!.

“Angelina is at risk of having a stroke or heart attack, and because she developed gestational diabetes, there is a high risk she’ll have it again, with the child being at risk for diabetes.”

Not being a biological mom again might be hard for Angelina, as she revealed to Vanity Fair last year that she loves being pregnant.

“It makes me feel like a woman,” she said. “Also, I happen to be with someone who finds pregnancy very sexy.”

The only reason I have trouble believing this story is because the doctor who is warning Angelina against another pregnancy has never even treated her so how can one possibly make any sort of prognosis on how her body would react to another pregnancy. She has had health issues in past pregnancies and with the twins she did have all kinds of problems but twins are always a high-risk pregnancy anyway. In any case, I definitely think that it’s something that can only be decided between Angelina, Brad, and her doctor. I don’t like the idea that other people are speculating about the state of her health when they’ve never even seen her.

I guess this New Year’s Eve will really have Madonna getting rid of the old and ringing in the new as it’s rumored that she’s dating someone new. Bye, bye A-Rod? Who knows but it’s said that this new boy toy is not only the mere age of 20 but that he’s also had his own part to play in a low-budget cable television porn movie. Not only does he act in porn but it’s not even good quality of porn…just a little something that any Brazilian can watch should they be up at that hour and subscribe to the local cable company. This should do great things for Madonna I’m sure. From Bump Shack,

I don’t really care all that much about Jesus Luz but what I do care about is what is happening between A-Rod and Madonna. Have they broken up? Is it because of this new young model/porn star? Or does this affair mean that the rumored affair between A-Rod and model Melissa Britos is also true? Or is this entire thing a complete fabrication? Who knows but I don’t think anything Madonna does is of any shock to anyone anymore. I think that both flings are probably both really happening and that they are probably both just that - flings. Slimy A-Rod and Madge will find their way back to each other, don’t you worry. As to whether or not Jesus is a tame porn star who doesn’t even fully undress in a poor quality cable porn movie? Small indiscretions in a Hollywood world of so much scandal.
