Kim Kardashian took some time away from simply showing off her enormous boobs to discuss one of our favorite topics: her sex tape with Ray J.

“I’m not poor, I’m not desperate, I would never try to sell a sex tape,” Kim recently said, defending her non-participation in releasing this infamous video. “It would humiliate me and my family. I don’t need the money. It’s something I feel very betrayed by, but I’m not pointing any fingers.”

She then coughed twice, said the words “Ray J” and coughed twice again.

Kardashian went on to discuss her business empire. Years ago, she worked at her father’s music marketing firm, Movie Tunes. When Robert Kardashian died in 2003, the company was left to Kim and her siblings.

“The company’s been sold but I now own two fashion stores with my sisters, Khloe and Kourtney, and we’re about to take our business online. I also model and I’m taking acting and singing classes. I work very hard,” she said.

Just like George W. Bush.

In closing, Kardashian talked about her former best friend, Paris Hilton. How do you feel about her, Kim?

“She’s a great person but I’m also my own person and an individual. Everyone makes different choices in their life and I don’t enjoy being compared with other people, no matter who it is. That’s why I did the reality show – I’m glad for people to see me and my family and what I really do.”

Something almost that good, though. After getting dissed on the last season of The Bachelor, DeAnna Pappas is ready for another go at TV love.

It’s true! DeAnna Pappas, 26, a real estate agent from Neunan, Ga., will headline the next season of ABC’s The Bachelorette, airing this summer.

Despite being awesome, she endured a painful, last-minute rejection by that jackass Brad Womack on The Bachelor season finale last November.

Even though he had even flown her father in and implied he was going to pick her, he rejected Pappas, as well as her competition, Jenni Croft.

Worst. Bachelor. Ever. Good riddance to you, Brad Womack.

Sorry, Simon Cowell. But you didn’t make this year’s Victoria’s Secret What is Sexy? list.

Even more frustrating for this American Idol judge? His on-screen rival, Ryan Seacrest, did earn a spot in the latest rankings. The lingerie company announced this week that Seacrest has a sexy smile.

Ryan Seacrest is sexy. We can safely say a contestant on this year’s American Idol, Kristy Lee Cook, can also be classified as such.

“What’s sexy about (Seacrest) is he doesn’t act like he is,” Victoria’s Secret spokeswoman Monica Mitro said. “We felt that his smile was quite sexy — in a very subtle and innocent and humble way.”

A Saturday night party in Scottsdale, Arizona is planned to recognize the honorees. They also include annoying, unfunny comedian Dane Cook, Rihanna, Tony Romo, Fergie and Josh Duhamel.

If you thought this couldn’t get weirder, you don’t read enough Britney Spears news. But even we’ll admit that this developing story is beyond bizarre.

After being taken from her home, sources inside UCLA Medical Center say Britney Spears checked into the facility this morning using an alias.

The sources say Britney said she was on Adderall, a stimulant used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder, and was taking up to 10 laxatives a day.

While Spears was described as “calm” this time (unlike January 3), for a time she was hurling profanities at her parents and staff.

When she was admitted, Britney accused her mom, Lynne Spears of “sleeping with my boyfriend.” She wasn’t specific on who she was referring to.

Adnan Ghalib? Sam Lutfi? Robbie Carrico? One can only guess.

TMZ also reports Britney’s parents have made progress in the tug of war with Sam Lutfi over who’s calling the shots when it comes to Brit’s treatment.

UCLA is “fully cooperating” with Lynne and Jamie Spears in the treatment of Britney, however, a judge must still an order as to who has control.

Also, Us Weekly reports that Britney Spears’ inner circle chose to admit her to UCLA Medical Center because of its experience in treating bipolar disorder.

“Her lawyers and doctors were working with UCLA,” a source cited by the celebrity news site says. “They were ready and had everything in place.”

The facility is better prepared to treat the troubled singer than L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was hospitalized January 3-4.

“When she went to Cedars-Sinai they weren’t ready for her,” a source says.

“They have a much stricter unit at UCLA Medical Center and treat bipolar cases regularly. This is a serious unit she’s on.”

Britney Spears, who sources report has not slept in days, is under a “mental health evaluation hold” - commonly known as a “5150″ - meaning she can be held for up to 72 hours if professionals deem her a danger to herself or others.

After those 72 hours of treatment, a patient’s family can seek a 14-day extended evaluation or the patient himself/herself can decide to seek further treatment, according to the California Department of Mental Health.
