Are Pamela Anderson and Rick Solomon pulling a Katharine McPhee and Nick Cokas?

The sex tape-laden twosome have reportedly applied for – and been granted – a marriage license in Las Vegas, according to Access Hollywood and People.

“I was told late Saturday night that they filed for a marriage license,” a source said, adding that Anderson and Salomon have been inseparable lately. “Rick is always with her. He’s backstage when she does her show all the time.”

According to Access Hollywood, the show’s Las Vegas affiliate confirmed that the pair had gotten the license on Saturday.

We wonder if this will lead to any Kid Rock, Tommy Lee and Rick Solomon fight. It’s a strong possibility.

According to the local news in Las Vegas, the Porn Princess, Pam Anderson, and… the Porn Pauper, Rick Salomon, applied for a marriage license the other day. The reason I’m making this update, is because you know… Pam screws around; a lot. She could be saying she’s engaged to the man in the moon, but rarely do we ever hear anything else about these guys. But this time it might mean serious nuptials, ladies and gentlemen. From People:

“Former “Baywatch” beauty Pamela Anderson and beau Rick Salomon applied for a marriage license yesterday, according to KVBC in Las Vegas. Here we go down the aisle again!

Sources tell TMZ that the couple could wed as early as today at the infamous “Little White Wedding Chapel.” Earlier this month, Anderson, 40, told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that she was engaged. Salomon, 38, is best known for producing and co-starring in Paris Hilton’s sex tape “One Night In Paris,” and was previously married to “90210″ actress and “Charmed” vixen Shannen Doherty. Miss Anderson is a mother of two and was most recently married to Kid Rock … for three months.”

I think that Rick is going to be a great new addition to the string of husbands for Pam Anderson; and she’ll make another good notch in his headboard as well. Especially if he doesn’t mind the risk of catching a special something from the new love of his life.

As exclusive a rumour as this must have been, why wasn’t I told? Supposedly, some people have been claiming that Michael is, or was married, and there was enough of them that his representative came out of whatever hole they have been hiding in, to say he hadn’t been married. It would have been a good story for Weekly World News, or something similar. “Michael Jackson Married!” would look great next to, “Housewife Having A Lesbian Affair With Loch Ness Monster!” Sadly, National Enquirer picked it up first. The singer’s rep issued a firm denial Thursday in response to a sudden flurry of reports stating that the self-proclaimed King of Pop had swapped vows with his children’s nanny, Grace Rwaramba, a frequent fixture in the courtroom during his trial on child-molestation charges in 2005.

“‘Wide spreading reports regarding Michael Jackson being married are not true,’ publicist and resident rumor-buster Raymone Bain said in a statement to E! News. ‘Documents stating otherwise are a hoax.’

“Earlier Thursday, the National Enquirer’s Website quoted a source supposedly close to the pair who said, ‘Grace was happy to go along with it. She’s always been devoted to Michael and has raised the kids since the day they were born. Michael knew she’d make a perfect stepmother.’
“The tabloid also said that it had obtained a real estate document on which Jackson referred to himself as a ‘married man.’””

Jackson also refers to himself as a black man occasionally; doesn’t mean it’s true, people.

Dylan McDermott and his wife of twelve years, actress Shiva Rose, have “seperated.” The couple married in 1995, and have two children together, ages 11 and 2. McDermott played ethically-challenged lawyer Bobby Donnell on ABC’s The Practice, and will be back on primetime this fall in another ABC drama. Rose most recently starred in a romantic comedy called David and Layla that I don’t think anyone has heard of, much less seen.

So it’s another Hollywood couple gone sour. I suppose it’s to be expected; after all, half (or is it more than that now?) of all marriages end in divorce. There is no reason why Hollywood marriages should be any different. There are always such high hopes in the beginning, though. McDermott told Diane Sawyer in an interview just four years ago that:

“I was in love with her right away. For her, it was a little longer, you know, a couple of years. But for me, it was right away. I guess it was grace.”

Makes you wonder if it’s not her initiating the divorce. I mean, if it takes you a few years to fall in love with someone, there’s something not quite right. You really can’t make someone love you, even if you’re a third-tier Hollywood star.

Could it be possible that Pink’s marriage is over after a mere 21 months? Pink and moto-cross star Carey Hart haven’t even made it to the two-year mark, but sources close to the couple say that it is over, kaput, DUNZO.

“Pink was out with a table full of friends and telling them that her and Carey just wasn’t working anymore.

She told them, ‘We’re just not getting along anymore. We each need our space. We need our distance. It’s not like it was when we first started.’ “

A friend of Carey’s confirmed the problems, saying:

“Carey is tired of her always accusing him of cheating, and he’s fed up with the constant arguing. He says
he cannot deal with her anymore. It’s his decision to put an end to this.

They are 100 per cent getting a divorce.”

However, a rep for Pink called the rumors “100 percent bullsh*t” and Carey himself, when asked last month about his relationship with Pink, said “everything’s fine.”

So which is it? Are they really on the rocks, or are Pink and Carey just another victim of the pressures of being a celebrity couple? Honestly, does anyone even care? Celebrities split up all the time; these two haven’t been together long enough to be considered one of those couples everyone thought would make it, and they’ve managed to stay together long enough to avoid being put on any Shortest Hollywood Marriages lists.
